So now that I’m going to be here in Richmond, at home for the while, I thought I’d at least list out what I hope to do.

I want to keep on practicing piano. Read some more books—I’m like 30 pages into Sense of an Ending and three pages into The Housekeeper and the Professor and really just hoping I can at least finish one of them before semi-starting another.

I need to keep on running even though my race got canceled (goodbye external motivation). Did a long run two days ago and have been super sleepy and tired and sore (really did not want to wakeup today haha) and the fact that I ran two days ago means I have to run today, even though it’s already 8:30 sigh.

Animal Crossing came out Friday, and I’ve basically been playing it nonstop for the last three days (really should space it out but without parental supervision, video game moderation for me is actually impossible).

We set off the fire alarm today making homemade pizza (overnight ferment), and it was really good (wish I could get more air in the crust). Japanese curry and bolognese sauce later this week. Another round of gumbo and then corned beef with carrots and potatoes last week. And of course, what’s now becoming a Brian-and-Michelle weekend tradition, going to Desi Street Food for their absolutely amazing veg thali platter (with puri of course) every weekend we’re here in Richmond. $10 for two puri, two veg curries, a sambar, fryums, rice, pakora, and dessert. Wish they didn’t use styrofoam, but I love that place so much (thank you Priyansh for taking us there earlier this month).
